In celebration of St George’s Day and the regimental day of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Fusiliers Connect, a specialised version of the Military App tailored specifically for the regiment. This platform is designed to strengthen the bonds within their community by making communication seamless and more accessible.
Just a few months post-launch, Fusiliers Connect has seen incredible engagement. Now with over 2000 Fusiliers and their family members have joined the platform, embracing the opportunity to connect and participate in various social activities such as walks, breakfast clubs, and coffee clubs.
Colonel (Retd) JW Denny MBE, Regimental Secretary of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, shared his enthusiasm about the platform’s impact:
“We’ve had nearly 2000 Fusiliers and family sign up already and we are already seeing a veteran community that is better connected than anything we have seen before—walks, breakfasts, coffee clubs—all born of an ability to share information and connect the wider Regimental family.”
